As a Sales Account Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate new sales account and to ensure business continuity.
You will be under the direct supervision of a Sales Supervisor.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and target potential customers for domestic freight forwarding services.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, online platforms, and industry research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand their business requirements, provide appropriate solutions and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and present customized quotations and proposals to clients based on their specific needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations and pricing to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Conduct negotiations with clients to secure contracts and favorable terms. Collaborate with legal and operations teams to draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including prospect information, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends and customer feedback.
- Coordinate closely with operations, customer service and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding services and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer requirements and expectations effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any issues, resolving complaints, and maintaining strong lines of communication throughout the sales and service process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of any four (4) year business course such as Marketing, Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
- Two (2) to four (4) years work experience in the DOMESTIC FREIGHT FORWARDING
- Excellent selling and communication skills
- Must be able to present information to clients and address business concerns of the said client
