About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team at Select Goods in Cebu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail management skills whilst taking on a leadership role within our store operations. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our retail environment operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer service, and supporting your team to deliver outstanding results. You will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of store operations, staff management, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage store staff during assigned shifts, ensuring professional conduct and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of customer service by monitoring customer interactions and ensuring team members deliver exceptional experiences
• Manage stock levels, product displays, and merchandising to ensure the store is well-organised, visually appealing, and compliant with company standards
• Monitor and support achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the store
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating complex matters when necessary
• Conduct staff training and coaching on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices
• Manage the opening and closing of the store, including cash handling, security procedures, and reporting
• Identify staffing needs and support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by management
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained throughout the store at all times

• Proven retail management or supervisory experience, ideally gained in a retail or consumer products environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and point-of-sale systems
• Flexibility and willingness to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

• Problem-solving ability and initiative in addressing operational challenges
