A Retail Assistant supports daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and enhancing the overall shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, processing transactions, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers, providing product information and recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
Sales and Transactions
- Process cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately.
- Upsell and promote special offers or loyalty programs.
Merchandising and Inventory
- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Assist in inventory counts and report stock discrepancies.
Store Maintenance
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and well-organized.

Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience
