Verified First is hiring a Verification Specialist to verify employment, education, references, and licenses for job applicants. You will make outbound verifications, review requests, and conduct research to confirm information for our clients.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This remote position supports flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in an office setting.
• At least 1 year of experience in U.S. Domestic Background Screening.
• Strong phone presence with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to perform extensive internet research and multitask across multiple windows.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls daily to verify education, employment, and references.
• Review and complete verification requests as ordered by clients.
• Research and determine next steps to verify information.
• Answer inbound calls on a multi-line phone system for Verifications.
• Email businesses, schools, and organizations to verify information.
• Conduct interviews with professional references to assess work history.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards; perform admin tasks.
