Job summary

First Advantage is hiring an Operations Specialist (Pooling) to primarily handle inbound and outbound calls for background verifications, including education, employment and references. The role supports remote work with night shift options and requires strong English communication and basic computer skills.

The candidate should have 2+ years of college or 1 year with BPO experience and be comfortable coordinating with multiple departments while maintaining accurate databases and timely status

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English and ability to conduct conversational interviews.
• Experience handling inbound calls/transactions is recommended.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, browsers).

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls for employment, education and other reference verifications.
• Obtain verification and reference information via phone, fax, mail, etc.
• Investigate and confirm reference credibility.
• Update reference contact information within the database.
• Answer inquiries from candidates and clients regarding background check status.
• Coordinate with other departments via phone and email regarding background check status.
