Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking experienced U.S. accountants to support U.S.-based firms from a remote Philippines setup. You will manage full-cycle accounting, prepare financial reports, and maintain clean records while collaborating with U.S.-based clients and teams.

You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years of U.S. accounting experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online. CPA and non-CPA candidates are welcome to apply, with night-shift hours aligned to U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least three years of U.S. accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with Xero, Bill.com, Google Workspace, and/or Excel is an advantage.
• CPA and non-CPA candidates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheets, P&L, and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform bank, credit card, merchant, and loan reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial analysis.
• Process and/or support payroll activities based on client requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain accounting checklists, SOPs, and close calendars.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based clients and team members through meetings and regular communication.
• Flag potential issues or discrepancies when identified.
