Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking experienced bookkeepers and accounting professionals to support U.S.-based clients from the Philippines. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports while collaborating with clients and team members remotely.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience communicating directly with clients or stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Willing and able to work U.S. business hours / Philippine night shift
• CPA and non-CPA candidates are welcome to apply
• Experience with Xero, Bill.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting or reporting tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close
• Prepare financial reports, including Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flow Statements
• Perform bank, credit card, merchant, and loan account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial analysis as required
• Process or support payroll activities depending on client requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation
• Develop and maintain accounting checklists, SOPs, and close calendars
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and processes
• Collaborate with clients and team members through meetings and regular communication
• Communicate financial information clearly and flag potential issues or discrepancies when identified
