Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking a U.S.-accounting professional for full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S. clients from a PH-based remote setup.

You will manage AP/AR, journal entries, month-end close, and provide insightful financial reporting. Prior experience with QuickBooks Online and exposure to Xero/Bill.com are highly regarded; CPA or non-CPA welcomed. Strong English skills and client-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience (public practice or industry).
• QuickBooks Online proficiency required; experience with Xero, Bill.com, G-Suite/Excel is a plus.
• CPA or non-CPA — both welcome.
• Strong English communication skills (written & spoken) and client-facing experience.
• Ownership mentality: organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple clients without sacrificing accuracy.
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours (night shift PH-based).

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. clients: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway for SMB clients.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with approvals and deductions.
• Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teammates and clients: join calls, translate financials into plain English, and flag risks/opportunities.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and organized, clean records.
