New CAS LLC is seeking a U.S.-oriented Accountant for a remote, full-time night-shift role based in the Philippines. You will handle full-cycle accounting for U.S. clients, produce financial statements, and deliver insightful variance analysis.

You’ll build budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections, while maintaining audit-ready records and collaborating with U.S.-based teams. CPA welcomed; 3+ years in U.S. bookkeeping is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks Online proficiency; Xero/Bill.com/G-Suite/Excel a plus.
• CPA or non-CPA welcome.
• Strong English communication and client-facing experience.
• Ownership mentality: organized, deadline-driven, multi-client management.
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours (night shift PH-based).

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. clients: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements with variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway for SMB clients.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately and on time, ensuring approvals and deductions.
• Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teammates and clients: join calls, translate financials into plain English, and flag risks/opportunities.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and organized, clean records.
