Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking an experienced Accountant for a remote, full-time role aligned with North American hours. You will manage full-cycle accounting for international client accounts, including AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close, delivering accurate financial statements and insightful variance analysis.

You will collaborate with US-based firms and overseas clients, ensuring audit-ready records and opportunities for process improvements, all within a remote-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad (public practice or industry).
• Strong written and spoken English; client-facing experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for international clients: AP/AR, journals, accruals, month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately with proper approvals and deductions.
• Collaborate with teams and clients abroad; translate financials and flag risks.
