Job summary

Penbrothers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will help build strong candidate pipelines and support the hiring process across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of recruiting, sourcing, HR, or administrative support.
• Familiarity with sourcing techniques and recruiting tools like LinkedIn, Indeed, and ATS platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Preferred: ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Trakstar, etc.).
• Preferred: Boolean search techniques.
• Preferred: experience in fast-paced or startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
• Use sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, job boards) to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Screen resumes and conduct preliminary phone screens to assess fit.
• Maintain candidate data and pipeline status in the ATS.
• Support recruiters with scheduling interviews and coordinating feedback.
• Help build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sourcing and recruiting.
