Ideal candidates have a degree in accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience, including remote work for a US company and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel. The role requires independence and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping or general accounting.
• 2+ years remote work experience with US-based company.
• 2+ years working US business hours (night shift) from the Philippines.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of accruals, prepaid expenses and depreciation.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliation).
• Regular use of AI tools in work.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and accounts receivable across all revenue channels and customer accounts.
• Record and reconcile customer receipts daily.
• Process vendor bills and reconcile accounts payable.
• Prepare payments to international team members and vendors; reconcile in QuickBooks Online.
• Bank and credit card transaction reconciliation; investigate discrepancies.
• Month-end and year-end close adjustments; maintain prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
• Assist external audit with documentation and reconciliations; support ad hoc reports.
