Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing is seeking an Accountant (Remote) for international client accounts to work a night shift aligned with North American hours. You will manage full-cycle accounting for clients abroad, including AP/AR, journal entries, close, and financial statements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years serving overseas clients, QuickBooks Online proficiency, and experience with Xero/Bill.com or Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping serving clients abroad.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; Xero/Bill.com/Google Workspace advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English with client-facing experience.
• Ownership mindset: organized, deadline-driven, capable of handling several clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for international clients: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, cash-flow projections, and monitor burn/runway.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately with proper approvals and deductions.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients abroad; translate financials into plain English and maintain audit-ready records.
