Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking an experienced Accountant for a remote role serving international client accounts from the Philippines. You will manage full-cycle accounting for abroad clients, including AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.

This night-shift position aligns with North American hours. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of experience, and QuickBooks Online proficiency are required; Xero/Bill.com/Excel are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad.
• QuickBooks Online proficiency required; Xero, Bill.com, or Google Workspace/Excel are a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English and client-facing experience.
• Comfortable with a night shift aligned to North American hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for clients abroad: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately with proper approvals; standardize checklists and close calendars.
