Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) seeks an Accountant (Remote) to manage international client accounts with full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR and month-end close. You will produce timely financial statements, analyze variances, and build budgets for diverse firms.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of overseas-client experience, and QuickBooks Online proficiency. Remote-first role with North American hours and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with Xero/Bill.com/GSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for clients abroad: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway.
• Reconcile accounts and perform payroll with proper approvals and deductions.
• Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; spot opportunities for automation.
