Job summary
Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking an experienced Accountant for remote, full-time work aligned with North American hours. You will handle full-cycle accounting for international clients, including AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end close, delivering timely financial statements and insights.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years with clients abroad, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong written and spoken English with client-facing experience.
- Experience serving clients abroad is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for international clients (AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, month-end close).
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis and insights.
- Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway for clients.
- Reconcile bank, credit cards, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate discrepancies.
- Process payroll accurately with proper approvals and deductions.
- Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; identify automation opportunities; collaborate with clients abroad.
