Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our remote team supporting international clients. You will manage complete accounting cycles, deliver accurate financial statements, and provide insights for strategic decisions.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online and comfort working a night shift aligned with North American hours, with a remote-first setup and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online; knowledge of Xero, Bill.com, Google Workspace/Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for clients abroad: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis and insights.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway for clients.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately with approvals and deductions; maintain audit-ready documentation.
