Job summary

AvantStay seeks a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator to manage permit applications and compliance for short-term rental properties. You will research, prepare submittals, and track renewal dates while keeping internal teams updated on regulatory changes.

The role requires 5+ years in a fast-paced operational role, ideally with a US-based company, and strong English communication. This is a 100% remote position with opportunities to collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed in the job requirements.
• Experience with regulatory or permitting work is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex workflows and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit permit applications for short-term rental properties.
• Maintain compliance records and renewal dates.
• Monitor local regulations and notify internal teams of changes.
• Develop relationships with municipalities and manage approvals.
• Draft and review permit applications, reports, and regulatory updates.
• Identify regulatory risks and propose mitigations.
• Conduct regulatory research and summarize findings for stakeholders.
• Suggest process improvements to speed up permitting and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements.
