Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Records Retrieval Triage Specialist to join our remote team. You will review HIPAA authorizations, verify patient and case information, and prepare documentation before cases move forward in the records workflow.

The ideal candidate is highly accurate, comfortable reading legal and medical documents, and can identify missing or inconsistent information to prevent delays in processing. This role requires overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Ability to read legal and medical documents.
• High accuracy in reviewing and comparing information.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and missing information.
• Ability to work independently following established procedures.
• Comfort with digital documents and editing tools.
• Availability to overlap with U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Review HIPAA authorizations and verify details.
• Cross-check case details against internal records.
• Prepare documents using templates in Acrobat.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy and formatting.
• Identify and resolve defects; place cases on hold.
• Follow up and escalate urgent items.
• Maintain accurate records for team access.
