Responsibilities

• Review HIPAA authorizations: verify signatures, patient information, dates of birth, dates of service and required details.
• Cross-check case details and identify discrepancies in names, dates, or other information.
• Prepare documents by transferring information into authorization templates using Adobe Acrobat or similar tools.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy, completeness and formatting.
• Identify and resolve defects by flagging missing or invalid information and creating follow-up tasks.
• Follow up and escalate pending or urgent items with clear information.
• Maintain accurate records of decisions and case status for team visibility.
