Aufgaben

• Review HIPAA Authorizations: verify signatures, patient information, dates of birth, dates of service, and other required details; review POA or guardianship documents when applicable.
• Cross-check case details: compare information against internal records and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare documents: transfer required information into authorization templates using Adobe Acrobat or similar tools.
• Perform quality checks: review files for accuracy, completeness, and formatting issues.
• Identify and resolve defects: flag missing/invalid information and place cases on hold until corrections are completed.
• Follow up and escalate: monitor pending cases and elevate urgent/delayed items with clear information.
• Maintain accurate records: document decisions, updates, and case status for team visibility.
