Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review HIPAA authorizations: verify signatures, patient information, dates of birth, dates of service, and other required details.
• Cross-check case details: compare authorization information against internal records and identify discrepancies in names, dates of birth, or other case details.
• Prepare documents: transfer required information into authorization templates using Adobe Acrobat or similar document-editing tools.
• Perform quality checks: review completed files for accuracy, completeness, formatting issues, and other potential reasons for rejection.
• Identify and resolve defects: flag missing or invalid information, create clear follow-up tasks, and place cases on hold until required corrections are completed.
