Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Patient Services Representative to handle patient inquiries, coordinate information with patients, medical staff, and administrators, and ensure needs are met. This fully remote role supports multiple stakeholders and emphasizes confidentiality and accuracy in communication.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, and a proactive, organized approach with reliability and flexibility to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year call center experience in medical accounts is a plus.
• Preferably college graduate or at least 2 years in college.
• Degrees and courses related to medical field are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls per procedure and assist patients with queries and concerns.
• Collect patients' outstanding balances and assist with billing inquiries.
• Place outbound collection calls to collect balances.
• Safeguard protected health information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Support department and company goals and be reliable and punctual.
• Be flexible with schedule and assist with other related duties as needed.
