Job summary

Outsource Access, Inc. is seeking a remote healthcare support professional to assist patients in navigating their medication access and insurance processes.

You will bridge between patients, medical offices, and drug manufacturers, using empathy and expertise to guide patients and ensure timely prescriptions. You will proactively contact doctors to obtain current prescriptions, manage sensitive patient data with HIPAA-compliant care, and support patients through their journeys during EST night

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or Allied Health and fluency in healthcare terminology.
• Empathetic and patient-focused, with ability to build rapport with patients.
• Available for night shifts (EST) with reliable performance.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and data entry screens.
• Dedicated home office setup for handling sensitive patient information.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between patients, medical offices, and drug manufacturers to secure medications.
• Guide patients by phone, answering questions and reducing anxiety throughout their journey.
• Proactively contact doctors' offices to obtain and maintain current prescriptions.
• Handle sensitive health data with strict HIPAA-compliant protocols.
