Job summary

Outsource Access, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant to support health system operations remotely from the Philippines. You will manage referrals, verify demographics and insurance, run triage, assign cases to clinicians, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

You will reconcile EMR data, upload daily reports, contribute to SOPs, and help build efficient workflows while communicating with teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a clinical admin role.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with high-volume data entry and triage workflows.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Highly organized and capable of self-management in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound patient referrals through BrightTree and partner systems.
• Accurately enter and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Apply clinical triage protocols based on CPAP/CCM compliance metrics.
• Assign patients to appropriate clinical personnel based on decision trees.
• Reconcile patient information between EMR systems and internal platforms.
• Upload daily compliance reports and maintain accurate logs.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and documentation.
• Maintain clear, structured, and real-time documentation of all transactions.
• Contribute to internal SOPs and process documentation (Playbook).
• Provide support in developing efficient workflows and compliance tracking.
• Process 50–80 patient referrals per day, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Manage tasks across multiple systems and tools.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams for issue resolution or clarification.
