Qualifications

• 3+ years of AP or accounting experience supporting US-based clients.
• Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and basic accounting principles.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) such as McLeod, DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Epay, or similar tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process carrier and vendor invoices for payment.
• Match invoices with load documentation, rate confirmations, and delivery receipts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with carriers and internal operations teams.
• Help ensure timely payments to carriers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate AP records and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails.
• Support audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting projects as needed.
