Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as Virtual Medical Assistant supporting a US-based clinic.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and EMR systems.
• Experience managing referrals and coordinating patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Process medication prior authorization requests and follow up as needed.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and document benefits in the EMR.
• Receive, process, and track referrals; coordinate with providers and insurers.
• Answer inbound calls and respond to patient inquiries with professional service.
