Ideal candidates will communicate in English, display strong executive presence, and manage billing-related tasks such as insurance verification, denied claims, EOBs, and patient balances while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Virtual Assistant experience.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Insurance verification after patient check-in; verify accuracy and documentation.
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing.
• Process EOBs and clear backlogs while ensuring accuracy.
• Resolve patient balances; coordinate next steps.
• Support claims processing for vendors (e.g., Cigna/VA) and escalation as needed.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completeness and compliance.
• Track appointments, trends, and generate operational reports.
