Job summary

iScale Solutions is seeking an experienced network engineer for a remote role serving multiple MSP clients. You will design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructure across client environments, while monitoring performance and resolving complex issues proactively.

The role requires 5+ years in MSP settings, strong routing/switching knowledge, and fluent English communication. Experience with Windows Server and AD is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-level MSP experience.
• Extensive hands-on networking knowledge: routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and security.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with time-critical issues across multiple client accounts.
• Fluent written and spoken English and professional phone communication.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365/Entra.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructure for clients and internal environments.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues across switches, routers, and access points.
• Provide Tier 1–3 support as escalation for multi-client accounts.
• Conduct network assessments and recommend upgrades and best practices.
• Support client onboarding, including network audits, documentation, and migrations.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Design and maintain bulk internet, Wi‑Fi, and managed network services.
• Troubleshoot resident‑facing connectivity issues with property management/ISP partners.
