Job summary

ECI is seeking a Senior Network Escalation Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This onsite role provides 24x7 monitoring, operations, and expert technical support across global clients in financial services, life sciences, legal and manufacturing sectors.

You will troubleshoot Cisco Meraki, ISR/Catalyst, Palo Alto, firewall infrastructures, and lead network design initiatives while delivering proactive customer service in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education.
• At least 8 years of experience in network support and delivering network projects.
• Expert level certifications such as CCIE or equivalent training.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Cisco ISR/Catalyst, Palo Alto, SonicWall, and FortiGate networking equipment.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues in routing, switching, VPN, wireless, certificates, and network slowness.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Experience in planning, executing, and overseeing network projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support to clients located across the globe.
• Troubleshoot/resolve complex issues related to Cisco and firewall infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve cases requiring specialized expertise.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and timely resolution of requests.
• Evaluate client networks and perform network and vulnerability assessments.
• Prepare change scripts and implement changes on client networks.
• Lead network projects from design to delivery and ensure deadlines.
• Engage in remote onboarding/offboarding and maintain client relationships.
