Job summary

iScale Solutions is seeking a seasoned network engineer for a fully remote position. You will design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructure for multiple client environments, and manage switches, routers, and access points.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues under time pressure, administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and security policies, and provide Tier 1–3 support across accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MSP experience with multi-client exposure.
• Extensive networking knowledge: routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, wireless.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-pressure problem-solving.
• Clear spoken and written English communication.
• Experience supporting business/consulting clients and multi-site environments.
• Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365/Entra, and MSP tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues across client accounts.
• Manage switches, routers, firewalls, APs, and other network hardware.
• Administer AD, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and security policies.
• Escalation point for Tier 1-3 tickets across multiple clients.
• Conduct network assessments and provide upgrade recommendations.
• Support onboarding, audits, and migrations for new clients.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures for each environment.
• Design and maintain bulk internet, Wi‑Fi, and managed services.
