More Staffing is seeking a seasoned Management Accountant for our remote team supporting a growing DTC ecommerce business across regions. You will handle month-end close, financial reporting, and inventory valuation, ensuring accurate leadership insight.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in ecommerce finance, experience with Xero and Shopify data, and a strong eye for detail. This role emphasizes analysis, controls, and finance operations, with UK hours overlap preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or ecommerce finance experience.
• Experience working in DTC ecommerce businesses.
• Experience using Xero.
• Experience working with Shopify financial data.
• Experience preparing month-end close and management accounts.
• Experience with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and COGS reporting.
• Experience supporting multi-region ecommerce businesses.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: support close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reviews, and management accounts.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: stock-in-transit journals, COGS journals, stock reconciliations, and inventory movement tracking.
• Tax Compliance Support: indirect tax filings across regions including Australia, UK VAT, EU VAT compliance.
• Accounts Payable & Financial Operations: supplier invoices, import tax calculations, and AP workflows.
• Ecommerce Financial Analysis: analyze Shopify data, reconcile ecommerce transactions, identify trends and opportunities.
