Job summary

Expedock is seeking a Bookkeeper to support a rapidly growing ecommerce health and personal care brand. This remote role in the Philippines covers daily bookkeeping, multi-channel sales accounting, reconciliations, inventory and COGS, monthly reporting and financial analysis.

The role collaborates with leadership to provide financial insights and support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements, with US business hours (12AM–9AM PHT).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience with GAAP knowledge.
• Experience supporting ecommerce/online retail accounting.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, amortization, and cost recognition.
• Experience handling multi-channel ecommerce transactions and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to work with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records across AP, AR, payroll, inventory, amortizations, and other accounts.
• Record and reconcile daily sales transactions across Amazon, Shopify, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Reconcile payment processor accounts (PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments, TikTok).
• Manage accounts payable and expense tracking documentation.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and audits; identify discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements and management reports.
• Provide monthly financial analysis highlighting trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage inventory valuation and COGS recognition including physical counts.
• Support month-end closing and ensure all accounts are reconciled.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
