Eastvantage Business Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, AR/AP, and support accurate financial reporting. This remote, full-time role reports to President/CFO and offers flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-state US sales tax compliance.
• Comfort across multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to meet strict recurring deadlines.
• QuickBooks and/or Acumatica experience required.
• Experience with Shopify is preferred.
• Experience with TaxJar a bonus.
• Experience with Fulfil.io a bonus.
• Familiarity with Asana and Slack a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: deposits and refunds; reconcile with ERP systems.
• Accounts Payable: process bills; enter into QBO/Acumatica; allocate costs.
• FedEx/UPS: review invoices; post to systems; file disputes.
• Credit Cards: reconcile; code receipts; post to GL.
• Sales Tax: manage exemptions in TaxJar for Shopify.
• Taxes: 1099 processing and year-end prep.
• Merchant account disputes: respond to chargebacks.
• Reporting: generate revenue figures daily/weekly.
• Benefits Insurance Bills: reconcile bills.
• Depreciation Entries: post predefined entries.
• Accrued & Prepaid Expenses: monthly allocations.
• Other small accounting tasks as needed.
