Job summary

Emapta is seeking a General Accountant to transform ecommerce transactions into reliable financial insights. This full-time role supports cash application, variance investigations, and reconciliations, with a night shift aligned to PST and a permanent work-from-home setup.

You will review daily Shopify payments, reconcile with NetSuite, and deliver monthly closings while maintaining strong control and accuracy. Retail-focused client experience and data-driven problem solving are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on Shopify experience.
• Working knowledge of POS systems.
• Proficiency in NetSuite.
• Experience with accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Ability to reconcile balance sheet accounts accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
