Job summary

Pillar Health Solutions is seeking a Business Development & Operations Lead to grow its physician partnerships while strengthening operational systems and the client experience. This is a remote, full-time role with a focus on growth, partnerships, and operational excellence.

You will work as a trusted extension of leadership, blending business development, client success, and strategic operations to scale the program and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience across business operations, executive support, business development, customer success, healthcare operations, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working directly with senior leaders, founders, executives, physicians, or business owners
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills
• Ability to manage several responsibilities simultaneously in a startup or rapidly changing environment
• Experience solving problems independently without waiting for detailed instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Confidence facilitating meetings and business conversations
• Ability to organize information and communicate progress clearly
• Strong judgment when dealing with sensitive or difficult conversations
• Comfortable learning unfamiliar systems and processes independently
• Practical experience using AI tools for business or productivity
• High attention to detail, particularly where client information, billing, reporting, or financial accuracy is involved

Responsibilities

• Develop physician partnerships and expand the partner network
• Conduct discovery calls with prospective physician partners and explain Pillar's services
• Communicate fees, billing structure, workflow, and partnership expectations clearly
• Coordinate with dietitians, virtual trainers, administrative staff, and virtual assistants
• Support operational excellence and improve SOPs as needed
• Monitor patient engagement and address service issues promptly
