Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a proactive Collections Specialist in the Philippines to manage overdue accounts and drive timely payment resolutions. You will contact customers via phone and email, analyze delinquency causes, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or service issues while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires 3-5+ years in collections or AR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in collections, AR, billing support, or related finance role.
• Strong phone presence and written communication, able to handle difficult conversations calmly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort with internal systems, CRMs, and spreadsheet/reporting tools.
• Ability to problem-solve across teams and drive issues to resolution.
• Basic understanding of invoicing and AR processes.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone and email to notify past-due balances and secure payments.
• Maintain high outbound call volume with professional, solution-oriented approach.
• Investigate account histories to identify causes of delinquency and recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to resolve disputes.
• Document interactions and follow-up actions in the system.
• Monitor portfolio to track payments and prioritize outreach.
• Monitor customer portals and reconcile with invoice system
• Provide feedback on process gaps and payment blockers.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close related to AR as needed.
