Job summary

Sharesource Australia is seeking a motivated Scheduler / Rostering Officer to join our Home Care team. The role focuses on rostering, staff allocations, and ensuring client care plans are met with appropriate staff.

You will work with clients, care workers, families and management, using Visual Care and Microsoft Office to maintain rosters, track availability, and respond to last-minute changes, while adhering to budgets and approvals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of rostering/scheduling experience in community aged care or related field.
• Excellent client service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage rostering using Visual Care and coordinate daily staffing allocations.
• Maintain casual rosters and update staff availability and leave.
• Ensure coverage for short shifts and respond to staffing changes promptly.
• Match staff to client needs within funding and budgets.
• Communicate roster changes to care workers, clients, families and team members.
• Maintain rostering records and provide admin support across staffing tasks.
