Job summary

Sharesource is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to serve as the financial backbone for a family-owned portfolio across two industries. You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and compliance for multiple locations, with primary oversight of data accuracy and timely reporting.

This remote role requires base residency in the Philippines and strong knowledge of Australian GST and BAS processes, using Xero for multi-entity files and high-volume data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a senior role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• Direct experience in the Australian accounting environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Xero (multi-entity files).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) management across multiple locations; supplier payments & reconciliations.
• Payroll preparation weekly; verify timesheets and approvals before payment.
• Daily bank reconciliations and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• GST/BAS reconciliation and compliance; month-end reporting to director.
• End-to-end bookkeeping across locations; ensure audit-ready records.
• Ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the client.
