Job summary

Sharesource Australia BPO seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to support a multi-location retail and supermarket client portfolio. You will handle full-cycle bookkeeping, AP, payroll, AR, and GST compliance, working remotely from the Philippines.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of bookkeeping, a degree in accounting or finance, hands-on Xero experience, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Knowledge of Australian accounting standards is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
Direct experience in the Australian accounting environment.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Xero (not just Xero certification).
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes across multiple store locations.
Prepare weekly payroll by auditing timesheets, rosters, shifts, leave records, and approvals.
Perform daily bank feed reconciliations and manage Accounts Receivable (AR).
Complete BAS preparation, GST reconciliations, and ensure GST claims are captured accurately.
Maintain end-to-end bookkeeping across multiple locations, ensuring audit-ready records.
