Job summary

Sharesource Australia BPO seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to support a multi-location retail and supermarket client portfolio. You will handle full-cycle bookkeeping, AP, payroll, AR, and GST compliance, working remotely from the Philippines.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of bookkeeping, a degree in accounting or finance, hands-on Xero experience, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Knowledge of Australian accounting standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
• Direct experience in the Australian accounting environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Xero (not just Xero certification).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes across multiple store locations.
• Prepare weekly payroll by auditing timesheets, rosters, shifts, leave records, and approvals.
• Perform daily bank feed reconciliations and manage Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Complete BAS preparation, GST reconciliations, and ensure GST claims are captured accurately.
• Maintain end-to-end bookkeeping across multiple locations, ensuring audit-ready records.
