Job summary

DOXA is seeking a Benefits Reconciliation Specialist to reconcile and audit monthly invoices across client-employer benefit and insurance accounts, coordinating with benefits, payroll, and accounting teams. This full-time role requires strong data entry and auditing skills and advanced English.

The position is based in The Philippines with remote work options, involving collaboration with international teams and adherence to confidentiality and accuracy in all benefit-related calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; familiarity with PEO operations preferred; knowledge of employee benefits laws (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA) is a plus.
• Strong reconciliation and auditing skills; data entry accuracy; proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll/audit software.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and perform precise mathematical computations.
• Confidentiality, strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit insurance carrier invoices to be reconciled with client employer benefits plans and payroll deductions.
• Verify calculation of monthly premium statements for all client benefit policies, working with accounting to ensure payments to carriers monthly.
• Monitor changes in client employer/employee deductions and premiums, audit and investigate monthly billing discrepancies, acting as contact between client employers and carriers.
• Input benefit deductions into payroll software and reconcile all benefit plans monthly with 100% accuracy.
• Develop process improvements and maintain audit documentation.
