Job summary

HireLago is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and nurture new opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting and relationship building.

You'll identify target accounts, research decision-makers, personalize outreach, qualify prospects, and create a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities for Account Executives. This role emphasizes strategic prospecting and longer-term relationships, especially within mid-market and strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in BDR, SDR, or outbound sales.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and researching target accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience conducting qualification or discovery conversations.
• CRM experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects across funnel stages and stay organized.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet measurable targets.
• Strong English proficiency (C1).

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage target accounts through multi-channel outbound strategies.
• Research key stakeholders and decision-makers to personalize outreach.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects over longer nurture cycles.
• Schedule and confirm discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives.
• Maintain records of activities and pipeline stages in the CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns and follow-up sequences.
• Meet monthly and quarterly pipeline contributions and booked meetings.
• Contribute to refinement of outreach scripts and playbooks.
• Represent the company professionally at virtual or in-person events when applicable.
