Huzzle.com is seeking a Business Development Representative to independently build and execute an outbound prospecting process, engaging US-based business owners and decision-makers, with the goal of filling the founder's calendar with qualified 15-minute discovery calls. The role requires researching target companies, navigating gatekeepers, sending follow-ups, and recording all activity in the CRM daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years outbound sales experience booking meetings for US-based companies.
• Proven experience building an outbound sales process from scratch.
• Daily use of AI tools for prospect research, personalization, and follow-up writing.
• Experience booking meetings with US small business owners and decision-makers.
• Experience targeting owner-operated industries (home services, local retail, restaurants, etc.).
• Strong track record of weekly meeting targets and effective objection handling.

Responsibilities

• Work through targeted lists of US-based business owners, researching each company before contact.
• Proactively contact owners, navigate gatekeepers, and generate interest in the company's data solutions.
• Book qualified 15-minute discovery calls with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Ensure prospects meet qualification criteria and send follow-up emails after conversations.
• Record all calls, conversations, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM on the same day.
• Submit daily activity reports covering dials, conversations, meetings booked, and meetings held.
• Identify successful openings, objections, and industries with high engagement rates.
• Take ownership of the outbound process and suggest improvements to scripts, lists, sequences, and tools.
