Job summary

yGen Innovations Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to open new international SMB accounts and translate client needs into scalable VA staffing solutions. You will lead outbound efforts, conduct market research, and shape pricing and service packaging across markets.

The role offers remote, full-time work for Philippines-based candidates with US business hours. A strong track record in outbound sales and client acquisition is required, along with excellent English

Qualifications

Availability to work on US business hours (PST or EST).
3+ years in business development, B2B sales, or client acquisition, including reaching out to and building relationships with prospects from a cold or warm start.
Track record of independently choosing which prospects, markets, or deal structures to pursue, such as reseller, partnership, or referral arrangements.
Background building outreach strategies or processes for a BD function across more than one service line or industry.
Strong written and verbal English communication for client-facing conversations.
Comfortable running structured market research or client surveys and turning findings into actionable pricing or service recommendations.
Working knowledge of BPO, Shared Services, or staffing service models

Responsibilities

Identify and prospect small to medium-sized businesses internationally with a need for Virtual Assistant support.
Conduct market studies on VA demand and pricing across target SMB segments and industries.
Build and pitch VA staffing proposals tailored to each prospect's gaps and budget.
Negotiate and close new client engagements, structuring roles, rates, and shift coverage.
Survey existing VAs to capture pay rates, shift patterns, and how they acquired clients.
Use market data to refine pricing models and service packaging.
Coordinate with recruitment and delivery teams to translate deals into VA hiring requirements.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and track lead-to-signature conversions.
