Job summary

Sharesource is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong Australian accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and can analyse financial data to support compliance and decision-making.

The role requires handling month-end close, AP/AR support, and collaboration with external auditors, with flexible remote + hybrid work options for a Philippines-based

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Accountant or similar role.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST, BAS, and taxation requirements.
• Experience managing or supporting AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial and management reports.
• Review revenue, expenditure, balance sheet movements and variances.
