Job summary

Sharesource, a B‑Corp company, seeks an experienced Accountant to support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Australian accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyse financial data, maintain accurate records, and support compliance and financial decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, AU accounting knowledge preferred.
• Proven experience with month-end close, financial reporting, GL, reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse financial data.
• Experience with AP/AR, payroll, GST/BAS, and year-end reporting.
• Proficient in Xero and other accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and accurate recording of transactions.
• Analyze monthly financials and management reports for variances.
• Support payroll, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations; assist BAS and GST.
