Job summary

Safeguard Global is expanding its APAC Business Development Team with a work-from-home role based in Manila, Philippines. The BDR drives new business growth across APAC, focusing on Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia, while China is excluded.

You’ll prospect, qualify, and engage senior stakeholders in a remote, flexible setup. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in B2B inside sales with strong outbound skills, English fluency, and Salesforce experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2B inside sales, business development, or customer support with a strong focus on outbound prospecting.
• Proven, demonstrable success cold calling and prospecting into ANZ markets.
• Native or near-native English fluency (spoken and written) for engaging business professionals across ANZ and Southeast Asia.
• Ability to source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.
• Strong listening, qualification, and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working ANZ business hours (AEST) and overlapping with Singapore hours (SGT) while remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform inside sales cold calling and outbound prospecting for assigned APAC accounts, maximizing conversion to telephone appointments and meetings.
• Schedule appointments and attend meetings with Sales Representative when required; assist with timely follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within the CRM system (Salesforce or equivalent).
• Research target companies across APAC (excluding China); identify key stakeholders and compile account intelligence for outreach.
• Collaborate with Sales Representative to coordinate follow-ups and drive opportunities.
