Job summary

Safeguard Global seeks a Business Development Representative to drive new business across the APAC region from a Manila-based, work-from-home setup. You will prospect ANZ and Southeast Asia markets, cold-call, and schedule qualified appointments while collaborating with the Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in B2B sales or related roles, strong English communication, and experience with Salesforce. This is a remote, full-time position aligned to ANZ business hours.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in B2B inside sales, business development, or customer support.
• Proven success with outbound prospecting and cold calling in ANZ markets.
• Native or near-native English fluency for professional stakeholder communication.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Work ANZ business hours (aligned to AEST) to support outreach and engagement with prospects across Australia and New Zealand.
• Research and identify companies across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia that are growing and expanding.
• Research target companies and identify key stakeholders across the APAC region (excluding China); compile accurate contact data and account intelligence to support outreach campaigns.
• Execute all aspects of inside sales cold calling and outbound prospecting for assigned APAC accounts, maximising the conversion of qualified prospects into scheduled telephone appointments and meetings.
• Work directly with the Sales Representative to schedule appointments, attend meetings where required, and assist with timely follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within Salesforce or the designated CRM system.
