STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time remote role. The ideal candidate will manage payables, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships. A BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of AP or related experience are required.

You will process invoices, prepare payments via checks, ACH, and wires, reconcile statements, and support month-end closes. Remote work with a stable internet connection is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Maintain accurate records of all payables and payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve issues.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment-related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing and audits.
• Collaborate with team to improve accounts payable processes.
