Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier, subcontractor, and employee transactions. The role maintains the AP ledger, supports weekly payment runs, and assists with month-end close while resolving invoice-related issues with operational teams.

Work-from-home position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST, following Australian holidays. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of GST are required, with experience in end-to-end AP

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing and payment coordination.
• Experience in invoice verification and reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related concerns.
• Knowledge and experience in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and its application in invoice processing.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier, subcontractor, and employee invoices accurately.
• Review and process invoices, credits, and adjustments with appropriate approvals.
• Validate ABN/GST treatment, PO matching, and cost allocation before posting.
• Identify duplicates, errors, and missing documentation before payment.
• Prepare weekly payment run and remittance advices, maintain payment records.
• Assist with month-end close and supplier statement reconciliations.
